US Govt is Drunk with Regulations
I respectfully disagree with the narrative that the US government lacks sufficient knowledge of the crypto industry they taxing to regulate. I spot however the irony of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” in US Congress!
The US Congress has become exceedingly drunk with taxation that they cared nothing about reviewing tax bills. Any bill can easily pass US Congress as long as taxation is visible in the bill.
Why is crypto regulation packaged with the US Congress’ $1.2-trillion infrastructure bill? Is it a targeted attack on the crypto businesses in the US or the global crypto industry?
Well, if there’s anything US government has learned since confiscating its citizens’ “gold” back in 1933 is that they don’t even have to confiscate its citizens’ ‘wealth’ since they can legally tax them to death.
And all they have to do is simply delete the word “confiscate”, replace it with the word “taxation” and some naive citizens will be like, yeah it’s just a tax bill — tax them Bitcoiners!
Excuse me No-Coiners, this is daylight robbery that usually springs from US Congress and spread the world over — due to not-so-independent countries who parade as independent before their respective citizens while being “YES men” to the US government.
People will soon wake up to the fact that the infrastructure bill is nothing short of the 1933 gold confiscation bill with a little twist, this time they want our “digital gold” — your cryptocurrencies! (they want to own it and control it — as if inflation is not bad enough).
Isn’t it obvious “The Emperor Has No Clothes”? The president of a small country El Salvador certainly thinks so, and by making Bitcoin a legal tender in El Salvador he boldly stands up for the economic freedom of his beloved country citizens!
Bitcoin is the most ambitious unstoppable project humanity is building today and the first technology S-curve in human history that is directly monetized at the base layer — securing the property rights, and the financial future of 7.8 billion world citizens!
